About Groups

Groups at Foothills are groups of 12-15 people who get together each week in convenient locations to grow spiritually, make new friends and have fun together. Groups are a great way to meet new people while growing in your faith!

Summer Groups kick off the week of June 4, unless otherwise noted, and come to an end in August - Summer groups only last 8 weeks! There are 13 great groups to choose from that meet all over the canyon!

General Group Join this Group Purchase the book	Building Teamwork in Marriage Make your marriage more fun, healthy, and fascinating by understanding that differences between you and your spouse are gifts from God. This 6-week study teaches biblical roles in marriage and lets you see your partner as a teammate, not an opponent. Learn to trust and be trusted. General Group Join this Group Purchase the book	Crazy Love Francis Chan's "Crazy Love" is a motivator and encouragement to live radically for Jesus while soaked in humility and grace. We will discuss Chan's message to the church, pray together and find some time for hiking on nearby trails. General Group Join this Group	Gospel in Life Rediscover the "now" power of the gospel as we study Tim Keller's "Gospel in Life." We will discuss why the gospel is central to Christian life, why it excited us at salvation and why it doesn't as much anymore. We will play family games and have casual discussion on our current series Rescue and the Jesus Storybook Bible for a great time of fellowship. Men's Group Join this Group	Basketball Men from Foothills will meet for a half hour before the general public shows up to stack chairs, prep the gym and play hoops. Men's Group Join this Group	Dads: Good, Bad & Ugly We'll look at six different dads in the Bible and their parenting styles. We will apply what they did to our lives as fathers. Recovery Group Join this Group	Faithful and True for Men Sexual integrity support for men. "Faithful and True" by Mark Laaser looks at how to develop healthy sexuality in a person's life and how to build trust back into your relationship. Bring your own coffee. Women's Group Join this Group	Ladies' Running We will train for a team 5K/10K race on July 28 to benefit Liberty House Child Abuse Assessment Center in Salem. All running levels/speeds are welcome. Women's Group Join this Group	Walk This Way Hiking Hiking and prayer group designed for women and students middle school and older who would like to explore God's creation together. We will meet for a time of prayer and then head off to our hiking destination for the day. Hikes will be easy to moderate. Times will vary depending on the hikes, but we should be back by noon on most days. Childcare available for a fee at Schabel home in Sublimity.
